Watchmac 1.2 Release Notes

This article contains the release notes for version 1.2 of Watchmac which was released on 11/25/2008.
- NEW You will now be prompted to enter your password when trying to quit Watchmac while it is locked.
- NEW Added stealth mode to the Watchmac visibility options. When this mode is enabled, Watchmac will not be shown in the Dock nor in the menu bar.
- NEW For automation purposes, you can now have Watchmac display infringement details through the «watchmac:» URL scheme, i. e. «watchmac:infringements/
» where is the unique ID of the infringement. - NEW In history view you can now press the space bar to mark the selected infringements as reviewed or needing review.
- NEW You can now flip through the camera snapshots in details view using a mouse’s scroll wheel or trackpad.
- NEW You can now filter and search the infringement history.
- CHANGED Changed the way the Watchmac lock status is displayed.
- CHANGED Some other minor interface changes.
- FIXED The sudden motion sensor will now work more reliable after waking from sleep.
- FIXED Fixed a bug that could cause Watchmac to crash when deleting an infringement after viewing details about it.
- FIXED The Watchmac dashboard will now be shown more reliable when reactivating the application.
- FIXED watchmacutil now installs correctly (when invoked using with the --install argument).
- FIXED The Delete Snapshot button in the infringement details pane is now properly enabled.
